Adam is a partner at Bereskin & Parr LLP with 20 years of litigation experience.
His practice focuses on the litigation of a wide range of patents and other intellectual property rights, as well as intellectual property related commercial disputes. He has successfully litigated cases involving all manner of technologies and businesses, including: hydraulic excavators (quick couplers); housewares (expandable hoses); information technologies (enterprise software licenses); oil production equipment (sealing assemblies and motor drives); farm equipment (hay bale shredders); industrial equipment (glass bending machinery); video distribution (Chinese language movies); cosmetics (counterfeit shampoo); toys and games (board games); image companies (stock photography). Adam has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court, Ontario Court of Appeal, Federal Court of Canada, and Federal Court of Appeal. Prior to joining the firm, Adam spent several years practicing commercial litigation. Before taking his law degree, Adam was an electrical engineer at the General Motors car body assembly plant in Oshawa, Ontario.
