Ryan Baker

As Director, Recruitment and Professional Development, Ryan leads Bereskin & Parr’s professional development team and oversees the implementation of various initiatives aimed at the engagement and advancement of the firm’s professionals. Ryan is responsible for the recruitment, management and career development of the firm’s students and associates and provides direction with respect to mentoring, workload allocation, and performance management matters. Ryan also sits on Bereskin & Parr’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee and is a member of NALP.

Before joining Bereskin & Parr, Ryan acted as in-house counsel and human resources director for a national recruitment organization. Prior to that, Ryan maintained a general corporate commercial practice at a national law firm and was actively involved in the student and associate programs.
