Required to Obtain a Filing Date
1. Completed application form and fees
2. Distinctness statement
3. Description of the origin and breeding history of the variety
4. Statement of uniformity and stability
5. Sample of propagating material where required
6. Maintenance of the variety
7. Assignment and appointment of agent where appropriate
Request
The following options may be requested at the time of filing:
(a) request for a protective direction
(b) request for exemption from compulsory licensing, and
(c) claim for priority (must be made within one year of original filing in UPOV member country). |
