Victor Krichker is a partner and patent and trademark agent with Bereskin & Parr LLP and is the Head of the firm's Licensing & Transactions practice group. He is also an active member of the Executive Committee, as well as the Electrical & Computer Technology and Mechanical & Industrial Processes practice groups.

Victor has extensive knowledge in patent and technology law. He advises clients on obtaining patent protection in the computer software and mechanical fields; trademark protection; intellectual property and technology transactions, including the sale and license of intellectual property rights; and managing intellectual property portfolios, including enforcement and avoiding infringement of third party intellectual property rights.

Victor frequently writes and speaks at several industry-related events. He has co-authored many articles on patent and technology law, and has spoken on patent law and intellectual property licensing at multiple conferences and seminars.

Victor was previously the Head of the firm’s Software & High Technology practice group. Prior to joining Bereskin & Parr, he held the position of Intellectual Property Counsel for a Canadian wireless software company.

During the "Annual Update on IP issues from Information Technology", held on October 20th from 9:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Victor will speak on the Patents segment, which will cover legislative developments and important decisions of the past year.

He will also be a moderating the table topic “Madrid Protocol, Nice Agreement, Singapore Treaty and Use: Major Changes to Canada's Trademark Regime” on Sunday, May 3 at noon.

Janice Bereskin will be speaking on Sunday, May 3 between 2pm and 3:15pm with other INTA leaders as part of the informative and interactive session "CSU50 INTA Committee Selection, Membership and Involvement: Behind the Curtain". The session will discuss the diverse and valuable benefits associated with active involvement in INTA.
