Sharyn’s trademark practice focuses on conducting searches, providing opinions and advice on registrability, filing and prosecuting applications, representing clients in opposition and expungement proceedings, and trademark infringement matters, as well as domestic and international trademark portfolio management. She counsels clients on copyright, domain name, and related Internet matters, and has successfully represented clients in Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA), Dispute Resolution Policy (CDRP) and Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) domain name disputes.
While attending university, Sharyn received numerous awards and scholarships, including the Governor General's academic medal and the award for Best Book Review published in the University of Toronto Law Review. During her last year of law school, Sharyn served as Senior Editor of the University of Toronto Law Review.
