Ontario Engineering Competition 2014

Oshawa, ON
January 31, 2014 - February 2, 2014

We are pleased to announce that Bereskin & Parr sponsored the Ontario Engineering Competition (OEC) as a Sustaining Major Patron. As a sponsor of this event for many years, members of the firm will be participating in a variety of areas. Kevin Shipley is Chair of the OEC Advisory Board, while Chris Bury and Reshika Dhir represented Bereskin & Parr as judges for the Innovative Design competition.

For over 30 years, the annual OEC has provided Ontario engineering students with academic challenges beyond the class room and has contributed to the development of both technical and "soft skills" required in modern, real-world engineering employment. Each year, over 200 students, selected from all accredited engineering programs in Ontario, compete against each other in a variety of technical and presentation based categories, with the winners of each category advancing to represent Ontario at the national Canadian Engineering Competition.
