Jane SarjeantJane’s practice focuses on Canadian trademarks and business names with an emphasis on trademark searching and oppositions. She also oversees the firm's searching department. Jane has extensive experience in search analysis, filing applications, trademark clearance, opposition and prosecution, and cancellation proceedings. Jane is a member of the Intellectual Property Institute's (IPIC) Membership & Information and Trade-mark Agent Training Course committees. She is also a member of the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) Online Reference Committee. Jane has been an instructor for IPIC’s online Trade-mark Agent Training Courses for several years, teaching in areas such as Opposition, Section 45 Proceedings and Trademark Fundamentals and Registrability. |
