Elizabeth Afolabi
B.A. (Hons.), J.D., LL.B
Liz’s practice focuses on trademark prosecution, litigation and licensing; copyright and new media law; as well as regulatory, marketing and advertising matters.
While attending law school at the University of Windsor, Liz was a research assistant at the Intellectual Property Legal Information Network and she was a constitutional law teaching assistant to Dean Bruce P. Elman. Liz is also a mentor for the University of Windsor’s Centre for Enterprise and Law program.
Liz was awarded the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) Educational Foundation Prize for achieving the highest mark overall in the Canadian Trade-mark Agents Examination.
Prior to joining Bereskin & Parr Liz was a lawyer at another national law firm where her practice focused on intellectual property.
