David’s practice focuses on patent procurement and prosecution in the areas of pharmaceuticals, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, polymers, materials chemistry, electrochemistry, environmental technology, nanotechnology and cosmetics.

While obtaining his B.Sc. in chemistry from the Université de Sherbrooke, David was awarded a FCAR scholarship based on his academic standing and the research he conducted during his academic co-op program. The FCAR scholarship allowed David to pursue his master's degree in organic chemistry during which his research was focused on the development of new synthetic methodologies in organic chemistry and their use in a total synthesis.

Prior to joining Bereskin & Parr LLP, David entered the IP profession with another national firm where he practiced for several years.

David is fluent in English, French, and Italian.
