About Cameron

Cameron Gale is a partner with Bereskin & Parr LLP. He is a member of the Electrical & Computer Technology practice group and the leader of the Quantum Technologies practice group.

Cameron’s practice focuses on evaluating new technologies, drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications worldwide, providing strategic advice and assisting with patent strategy and patent portfolio management. He also assists clients with IP procurement and enforcement, patentability and infringement opinions, and freedom to operate assessments.

Cameron works with clients in a wide range of industries and has experience dealing with complex technological and mathematical technologies including quantum technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), computer architecture, telecommunications and computer networks, data encryption, image and data processing.

Cameron received the J. Edward Maybee Memorial Prize from the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada for having achieved the highest overall mark in the Patent Agent Qualifying Examinations as well as the Marie Morency Memorial Prize for obtaining the highest mark on the drafting portion of the Examination.

Outside of work, Cameron enjoys playing hockey, cooking and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
