Profile

Roger Hart is of counsel with Bereskin & Parr, having previously been a partner with the firm for over 25 years.

Roger has been registered as both a patent agent and trade mark agent in Canada and the United States for over 35 years. He is also involved in the training of new Canadian patent agents.

Roger has been active within the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC), and served as IPIC President in 1990. He is well respected within his field and is a frequent speaker at conferences and educational seminars, and has written several papers dealing with licensing intellectual property. The Canadian Legal LEXPERT Directory consistently ranks him as one of Canada’s leading intellectual property practitioners.

Prior to joining Bereskin & Parr, Roger obtained a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from Queen’s University, and a law degree from the University of Toronto, in addition to working in the automobile manufacturing industry
