Profile

Monika Paape is a technical consultant with Bereskin & Parr and works out of the firm’s Montréal office.

Monika earned both a B.Eng. and an M.Eng. in computer engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal. She is a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).

Prior to joining Bereskin & Parr, Monika spent eight years with an international telecommunications company, where she gained experience in object-oriented design and programming, web based development and relational database design and management. Having worked as a software developer and designer, Monika is proficient in goal management with respect to the software development process and software quality measurement.

As a member of the firm’s software/high technology practice group, Monika’s practice focuses on assisting in the drafting and prosecuting of patents with a particular interest in computer software technology innovations.

Monika is fluent in French and conversant in German and Japanese. .
