Louisa Pontrelli is an associate with Bereskin & Parr.
Louisa earned an Honours B.Sc. in biochemistry from McMaster University and an M.Sc. in clinical biochemistry from the University of Toronto. While attending the University of Toronto, Louisa studied molecular and cellular biology of lipoprotein metabolism in cardiovascular disease. She also coauthored two papers that appeared in Metabolism and a third paper that appeared in Biochemistry. Louisa then went on to earn her LL.B. from the University of Windsor.
Louisa was an articling student with Bereskin & Parr before being called to the Bar. Her practice focuses on biotechnology and pharmaceutical matters, including patents, licensing, and related litigation. She is also a member of the firm's litigation practice and will be involved in cases relating to life sciences matters.
