Profile

Lloyd Sarginson is a partner at Bereskin & Parr.

After receiving his engineering degree Lloyd worked for several years in industry as an engineer before obtaining his law degree. Lloyd is registered as a patent agent and a trade mark agent before both the Canadian and United States Patent Offices.

Lloyd provides opinion and strategic planning advice relating to all aspects of intellectual property to a wide range of clients. He has extensive experience in advising clients with respect to the management, protection, licensing and enforcement of intellectual property rights.

Lloyd is a frequent participant in conferences and continuing education programs on intellectual property in Canada, the United States and Europe. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the International Trademark Association.

Lloyd has an avid interest in photography, squash, skiing, hiking and reading, and along with his wife, Mary Jane, he enjoys a growing family of five children.
