Dan Yang is an associate with Bereskin & Parr and a registered Canadian trade mark agent.
Dan received both her bachelor and masters degrees from Shanghai International Studies University, and has worked in China in various fields, including journalism, foreign trade, banking, and intellectual property protection. In 1998, Dan obtained a masters degree in intellectual property law from the Franklin Pierce Law Center.
Dan's practice focuses on Canadian and foreign trade marks, including trade mark clearance, prosecution, oppositions and cancellation proceedings. Dan has specific expertise in providing advice to Canadian companies and organizations active or interested in the Chinese market, and also to Chinese companies who wish to protect their trade marks in Canada.
