Overview
This seminar will provide you with a basic understanding of intellectual property ("IP") and how it is important to your business, or your client’s business. Our presenters will discuss the basics of trade marks, patents, copyright, and industrial designs, as well as explain the differences between these various types of intellectual property. Using examples, IP-related issues will be covered, such as, what can be protected, the benefits and costs of IP registration, how you get protection in other countries, and how long various intellectual property rights last.
