This seminar is intended for those who have some knowledge of patents and trade marks, and are managing an intellectual property portfolio. Our presenters will discuss how to use your trade marks properly and effectively, and provide tips on protecting trade mark portfolios. Patent issues, such as the differences between patent prosecution in Canada and the United States, and key issues in securing patent rights in Canada and abroad will also be covered. Finally, managing an IP portfolio involves exploiting your patents and trade marks, so we will also discuss licensing issues and the transfer and ownership of IP rights.
