Our Services
The Waterloo Region office provides a full range of intellectual property services with a focus on patents and intellectual property management for technology companies. In addition to our core patent services, we provide trade mark, copyright, confidential information advice and strategic business counsel as it pertains to intellectual property. Members of our litigation group meet with clients in Waterloo Region to help advise on enforcement and defense in intellectual property matters. Our experts on packaging, labeling and other regulatory compliance matters are also be easily accessible to our Waterloo Region clients.
Our People
The staff of our Waterloo Region office has been carefully selected for both their connections to the region and their knowledge of electrical, communications, internet and computer related technology, and the legal issues surrounding such technology. Tim Sinnott, a senior partner with Bereskin & Parr leads the Waterloo team. Tim has more than 20 years of experience helping his clients protect, manage and commercialize their technology. Tony Orsi has an electrical engineering degree and extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications. Tony worked in the high technology industry before joining Bereskin & Parr. In addition to the lawyers and patent and trade mark agents in the Waterloo Region office, all other members of the firm are available to Waterloo region clients for specific and ongoing advice.
